Kaštela - South direction 7 days

Day 1: Kaštel gomilica, the base Marina Kaštela – Bobovišća, island Brač

  • Arrival to the base, check-in procedure and documents’ registration, embarkation
  • Supplying at the supermarket in the base
  • Sailing SE towards the strait Splitska wrata, to Bobovišća bay, island Brač
  • Overnight stay at the buoys or on the berth on the small pier in the tiny Bobovišća village
  • Bobovića – tiny and calm bay in front of small fishermen’s village for a pleasant stay

Day 2: Bobovišća, island Brač – Hvar town, island Hvar

  • Sailing SSW through the strait Splitska vrata to Pakeni otoci archipelago
  • Lunch and swim / snorkel break at one of virgin coves within the archipelago
  • Overnight stay at ACI marina Palmižana on Pakleni otoci; transport to the Hvar town by shuttle speedboats; or overnight stay at Hvar town port
  • Besides vibrant night life Hvar town abounds with cultural and historical gems such as the famous Hvar’s lace-work made by nuns at the Benedictine monastery for centuries (UNESCO’s list of world intangible heritage)

Day 3: Hvar town, island Hvar – island Lastovo (Zaklopatica, Lastovo town; Skrivena Luka, Jurjeva luka, Pasadur…)

  • Sailing SE, passing NW side of the island Korčula, to the island Lastovo
  • Lunch and swim/snorkel break at one of the virgin bays on the islet Mrčara or the NW side f the island Lastovo
  • Overnight stay on the anchor at Jurjeva luka or some of the bays nearby Pasadur; on the berth or anchor at Skrivena luka bay (the Hidden Harbour); or at the berth belonging to one of the restaurants at Zaklopatica bay
  • Recommended – visit to the Lastovo town, old and preserved genuine Dalmatian town lying in the tiny valley in the inland of the island. Restaurants at Zaklopatica bay serve fresh fish and genuine seafood specialties
  • Notice: the overnight stay ticket is charged at Lastovo and its archipelago as they are protected natural reserve

Day 4: island Lastovo – Korčula town, island Korčula

  • Sailing NE towards the island Korčula
  • Lunch and swim / snorkel break at one of the beaches / coves nearby Lumbarda, island Korčula; or at islet Badija, nearby Korčula town – turquoise waters and sandy seabed
  • Overnight stay on the water / electric current supplied berths at ACI marina Korčula
  • Korčula town: a south-Dalmatian gem of medieval architecture – stone made city walls, fortresses and tiny streets. The sward dance Moreška is kept as a tradition since late 15th century. The town is also known as the birthplace of famous medieval explorer Marco Polo.

Day 5: Korčula town, island Korčula – islet Šćedro

  • Sailing NW through the Korčula channel, towards island Hvar, to the islet Šćedro
  • Swim / snorkeling break at the virgin bay nearby Lovišta, NE cape of the peninsula Pelješac
  • Šćedro - uninhabited island with beautiful hidden bays, beaches and coves
  • Overnight stay on the buoy or anchor
  • Recommended: a dinner at the authentic fisherman’s tavern (konoba) at Mostir bay

Day 6: islet Šćedro – Starigrad, island Hvar

  • Sailing NW alongside the coast of the island Hvar, rounding cape Pelegrin and heading E to Starigrad town
  • Swim / snorkeling break at one of the virgin bays on the island Hvar’s N shores
  • Overnight stay at water / electric current berth at the city port
  • Starigrad – the oldest town at the island, founded as the settlement of ancient Greek colonists. Genuine and well preserved medieval architecture and excellent local specialties in authentic taverns all over the town

Day 7: Starigrad, island Hvar – Kaštel Gomilica, the base Marina Kaštela

  • Sailing NW alongside the S coast of Brač island; towards the strait Splitska vrata
  • Swim /snorkeling break at one of the coves on the S shores of Brač or Livka bay on island Šolta, just at the strait Splitska vrata
  • Recommended: a visit to Pustinja Blaca – isolated and remote monastery just 40 minutes’ walk from the beach at Blaca bay (SW coast of island Brač) to the inland
  • Sailing back to the base Marina Kaštela
  • Overnight stay at the base and check-out procedure the next morning
